EMV Impact on Omni-Channel Retailers

There’s been a lot of discussion lately on the impact of EMV in the U.S., but I think we can all agree that adoption in imminent.

Smart retailers are treating this as an opportunity to finally accomplish the following:

  • Enable true omni-channel acceptance
  • Consolidate risk/fraud services and policies across all points of acceptance
  • Implement big data (payment, customer and marketing data) strategies to gain a competitive advantage

As these goals become more important to our retailers and software companies, helping them get there is imperative to EVO Snap*. While we currently support 125 authorization currencies and 11 settlement currencies, there’s more work to be done in support of our customer’s growing global service needs. We’re excited about several projects currently underway to help support these efforts this year.
